Notes from learning to live here ; unpolished, unfinished, honest.

It’s not the big changes that stay with me.
Those are obvious.
Expected.

What lingers are the small things.

Mornings feel less urgent. Even when the city is awake, nothing seems to rush me out the door. Time doesn’t disappear immediately , it waits.

People wait differently too.
Not impatiently.
Not anxiously.
Just waiting, as if movement doesn’t always need proof.

I’ve noticed myself slowing down without meaning to. Walking longer routes. Standing still more often. Letting moments pass without turning them into tasks.

At first, this felt uncomfortable. Silence usually does when you’re used to momentum. But slowly, it stopped feeling empty  and started feeling spacious.

Some days I miss the efficiency of my old routines.
Other days, I realize how heavy they were.

These changes are small. Almost invisible.
But together, they quietly redefine what “normal” feels like.
